When reading a formal letter in German with a group of students in December we got side-tracked to a German song by Die Fantastischen Vier whose lyrics were made up entirely of abbreviations: «MfG»
I took this opportunity to translate the song’s vocabulary into Chinese — not an easy task, considering all the ambiguity in the chorus.
